About Scott
Scott is a managing director and portfolio manager for Nuveen Real Estate. He is a portfolio manager for the U.S. Cities Retail Strategy and U.S. Super Regional Mall Strategy, with direct day-to-day oversight of the investment strategy, transactions and major asset management decisions.
Since joining the business in 1987, Scott has held various positions in real estate portfolio management, acquisitions, commercial mortgage investing, wholly-owned development and joint ventures. He previously served as head of the strategic acquisitions team for all U.S. markets. Prior to that, Scott served as director of real estate acquisitions for the eastern U.S. and western U.S., and has served in several other investment production capabilities.
Scott graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Syracuse University. He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Pension Real Estate Association (PREA).
