About David
David is a director with Nuveen Real Estate’s research team, focused on the U.S. direct real estate market. His analytical expertise contributes to teams across the firm, developing investment frameworks and innovative research tools.
Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2019, David was an analyst with Waterfront Capital Partners, a REIT-focused hedge fund based in New York. At Waterfront, David was responsible for $100 million of the fund’s $1.3 billion long/short book with primary coverage of the residential sector. Prior to Waterfront, David worked for Green Street Advisors in their quantitative analytics department where his expertise spanned the office and residential sectors.
David graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Finance from California State University, Los Angeles and a Master’s in Finance from Claremont McKenna College.
