About Austin
Austin oversees real estate strategy and the development of all new real estate funds, joint ventures and client solutions globally. He is a member of the global leadership team, and runs the global real estate governance process, which evaluates all new real estate client solutions and products. Additionally, he chairs the Strategic Advisory Council, which brings together our regional CIOs, and global Research, Innovation and Sustainability functions to ensure the platform identifies and acts on the structural opportunities and challenges facing clients in tomorrow's world.
Prior to his current role, Austin worked in real estate investment at Henderson, Schroders and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Austin graduated with a B.Sc., honors, in Economics and Geography from the University of Reading and a M. Phil. in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge. He holds the Investment Management Certificate from, and is a member of, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Austin is also a member of the INREV due diligence committee.
