Fund description

An actively managed credit strategy that invests across primarily across the investment grade, U.S.-dollar fixed income market in securities that demonstrate direct and measurable environmental and social impact. The team’s active approach and issuer engagement is designed to pursue financial and impact outcomes that cannot be achieved with passive strategies. Active fixed income aims to deliver alpha relative to the benchmark, as well as improved risk-adjusted returns via risk management. The team’s engagement with issuers, underwriters, project managers, and industry groups offers the potential for an expanded investable universe of issuers and security types, as well as stronger governance and accountability around how proceeds are deployed and outcomes generated.

**Distribution rate at NAV is calculated by annualizing the most recent declared regular distribution and dividing by the fund's NAV. Special distributions, including special capital gains distributions, are not included in the calculation. The distribution rate should not be confused with yield or performance.

Average cumulative returns

Morningstar ratings

Morningstar ratings are based on historical risk-adjusted total returns, which are not indicative of future results.

Performance data shown represents past performance and does not predict or guarantee future results. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate so that when shares are redeemed, they may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be higher or lower than the performance shown. Net Asset Value (NAV) Total returns assume reinvestment of distributions, and if shown for a period of less than one year are cumulative. Market price returns are based on the closing market price on the date shown.

Shares of ETFs are bought and sold at market price as opposed to net asset value. As a result, an investor may pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. In addition, brokerage commissions will reduce returns. Fund shares are not individually redeemable directly with the Fund, but blocks of shares may be acquired from the Fund and tendered for redemption to the Fund by certain institutional investors in Creation Units.

Maturity breakdown in years

Credit quality

Ratings shown are given by one of the following national rating agencies: S&P, Moody's or Fitch. Credit ratings are subject to change. If there are multiple ratings for a security, the lowest rating is used unless ratings are provided by all three agencies, in which case the middle rating is used. AAA, AA, A, and BBB are investment grade ratings; BB, B, CCC/CC/C and D are below-investment grade ratings. U.S. government and agency mortgage-backed securities, if owned by the Fund, are included in the U.S. Treasury/Agency category (included only if applicable). Holdings designated NR are not rated by these national rating agencies and, where applicable, include net derivative positions.

Sector allocation

Sector allocation tables include exposures achieved through credit default swaps. Such exposures are reflected based on the notional value (rather than the market value) of the swaps, with exposures weighted negatively when the Fund has purchased credit protection and positively when the Fund has sold credit protection. Other reflects an offset to (i.e. the inverse of) such notional amounts, and any sectors not specifically identified. Because credit default swaps’ returns are not perfectly correlated with individual portfolio securities’ returns, there may be excess gains or losses from the use of the swaps. Negative sector weightings may result from the use of derivatives and from unsettled trade positions. Positions are subject to change.

All characteristics as a percentage of the fund's total net assets. Holdings and ratings are subject to change. Totals may not add up to 100% due to rounding.

Important information on risk

Investing involves risk; principal loss is possible. Debt or fixed income securities are subject to market risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, call risk, derivatives risk, dollar roll transaction risk and income risk. As interest rates rise, bond prices fall. Below investment grade or high yield debt securities are subject to liquidity risk and heightened credit risk. Preferred securities are subordinated to bonds and other debt instruments in a company’s capital structure and therefore are subject to greater credit risk. Foreign investments involve additional risks, including currency fluctuation, political and economic instability, lack of liquidity and differing legal and accounting standards. Asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities are subject to additional risks such as prepayment risk, liquidity risk, default risk and adverse economic developments. These investments are subject to credit risk and potentially limited liquidity, as well as interest rate risk, currency risk, prepayment and extension risk, and inflation risk.

Investing in foreign denominated and/or domiciled securities may involve heightened risk due to currency fluctuations, inflation, social, economic, political risks and different accounting standards, all of which may be enhanced in emerging markets of developing countries.

Credit risk may be heightened for the portfolios that invest a substantial portion of their assets in “high yield” debt or loans with low credit ratings. These securities, while generally offering higher yields than investment-grade debt with similar maturities, involve greater risks, including the possibility of interest deferral, default or bankruptcy, and are regarded as predominantly speculative with respect to the issuer's capacity to pay dividends or interest and repay principal. Companies that issue high yield debt or loans tend to be highly leveraged and thus are more susceptible to the risks of interest deferral, default and/or bankruptcy.

Responsible investing incorporates Environmental Social Governance (ESG) factors that may affect exposure to issuers, sectors, industries, limiting the type and number of investment opportunities available, which could result in excluding investments that perform well. ESG integration incorporates financially relevant ESG factors into investment research in support of portfolio management for actively managed strategies. Financial relevancy of ESG factors varies by asset class and investment strategy. Applicability of ESG factors may differ across investment strategies. ESG factors are among many factors considered in evaluating an investment decision, and unless otherwise stated in the relevant offering memorandum or prospectus, do not alter the investment guidelines, strategy or objectives.

The Morningstar RatingTM for funds, or "star rating", is calculated for managed products (including mutual funds, variable annuity and variable life subaccounts, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and separate accounts) with at least a three-year history. Exchange-traded funds and open-ended mutual funds are considered a single population for comparative purposes. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a managed product's monthly excess performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of products in each product category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars, and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a managed product is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five-, and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. The weights are: 100% three-year rating for 36-59 months of total returns, 60% five-year rating/40% three-year rating for 60-119 months of total returns, and 50% 10-year rating/30% five-year rating/20% three-year rating for 120 or more months of total returns. While the 10-year overall star rating formula seems to give the most weight to the 10-year period, the most recent three-year period actually has the greatest impact because it is included in all three rating periods. ©2026 Morningstar, Inc.
