About Scott M. Tonneson
Scott is a portfolio manager for several of Nuveen’s large/mid-cap equity strategies and an equity long/short strategy. Prior to his current role, he served as lead fundamental research analyst, and was a senior quantitative research analyst responsible for building models to deliver relevant quantitative data to the equity portfolio teams.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Scott worked at Ameriprise Financial (formerly IDS Financial) as an equity quantitative analyst and business analyst. He entered the investment industry in 1994.
Scott graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
