Andy Schofield

Andy advises Nuveen Real Estate’s fund managers on acquisitions, disposals and developments, with particular responsibility for global office market strategy and research. He works particularly closely with the Central London office teams and with the Pan-European Office JV, and is the lead researcher for the countries of France, Spain and Benelux.

Prior to joining the firm, Andy was senior research manager at IPD, and before that associate director at Insignia Richard Ellis, overseeing the Economics, Forecasting, Investment and Consultancy. Before joining real estate, he was a macro-economist for 12 years, spanning posts in government, industry and consultancy.

Andy graduated with a B.A., honours, in Economics from Kingston University and an M.S. in Economics and Strategy of E-commerce from Birkbeck College, University of London. He has previously served as Hon. Secretary to the Society of Property Researchers and is currently a member of the Investment Property Forum and Land Economics Society.
