About Peter G. Reali
Peter Reali is a managing director and member of the responsible investing (RI) team at Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA. He is responsible for leading the engagement efforts across the firm by working directly with companies to discuss important ESG issues and developing standards for proxy voting.
Prior to joining Nuveen, Peter led the corporate governance and proxy voting function at Lord, Abbett & Co. and was on the corporate governance team at T. Rowe Price. From 2005-2013, he was the lead corporate governance analyst at TIAA-CREF. In 2020, Peter was appointed to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment’s Stewardship Advisory Committee.
He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University.
