About Shant Hagopian
Shant is head of business strategy and development for the Nuveen leveraged finance platform. In this role, he is responsible for platform strategy as well as key strategic and growth-related initiatives, working across the leveraged finance platform and broader Nuveen organization. Shant joined Nuveen affiliate Symphony Asset Management in 2015 as a Business Strategist working on strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining the firm, Shant held positions at BasicValue Asset Management and Credit Suisse affiliate, Asset Management Finance. He began his career at Berkshire Global Advisors as an investment banking analyst focused on the asset management sector.
Shant graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Harvard University.
