Nick provides trading and analytical support to the portfolio managers on the Municipal Fixed Income Team who are dedicated to municipal mutual funds. He is responsible for trading bonds in both the new issue and secondary markets as well as assisting in the structuring of new issue pricings on behalf of portfolio managers. Nick also handles incoming inquiries from broker/dealers, traders and back office operations, helping to resolve all trade settlement discrepancies. In addition, he assists with the firm’s tender option bond program.
He began working in the financial services industry in 2007 and joined Nuveen Asset Management in 2008. Prior to his current role, Nick was an RFI analyst at the firm where he was responsible for completing requests for proposals and due diligence questionnaires as well as preparing portfolio reviews for institutional clients. He began his career at Oppenheimer & Co. as a sales assistant for a team of financial advisers.
Nick graduated with a B.A. in finance from Seattle Pacific University. He is currently an M.B.A. candidate at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago.
