Jon oversees and coordinates the research efforts for Nuveen Asset Management including the equity research analysts, the quantitative analysts, the taxable fixed income credit analysts, and the municipal fixed income credit analysts. By coordinating these research teams, the firm is able to leverage company-specific analysis; discuss top-down sector impacts and issues; share sector outlooks; and create consistent views on macro and global trends.
Jon began working in the financial industry in 1980 and joined the firm in 1984. Prior to assuming his current role, he spent nine years leading the Private Asset Management Group before it was realigned with U.S. Bank. In this role, he led the investment process for 170 portfolio managers who managed portfolios in excess of $50 billion in assets.
Jon received a B.S. from Minnesota State University–Mankato. He serves as a board member of the Morton Cure Paralysis Fund.
