Chief Human Resource Officer

Caroline Mandeville is Nuveen’s Chief Human Resources Officer.

Caroline leads the firm’s organizational design, culture and change initiatives. She also oversees talent management, compensation, and diversity and inclusion efforts. Caroline has more than 20 years of human resources experience and joined Nuveen’s parent company TIAA in 2013. She has held a variety of human resources leadership positions with the asset management business, most recently leading human resources for Nuveen’s global investment affiliates. Previously she held human resources positions at The Hartford and MassMutual.

Caroline is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), completed the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program, is a certified change management leader (PROSCI), and earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Caroline earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human resources management, and has a master’s degree in business administration.
