A Word On Risk

An investment in the Fund is subject to market risk or the risk that stocks in the portfolio will decline in response to such factors as adverse company news or industry developments or a general economic decline. Investments in mid-cap companies are subject to greater volatility and price fluctuations. Investments in foreign stocks present additional risks, including foreign company risk, market risk, currency risk and correlation risk. As with any mutual fund, possible loss of principal is a risk of investing.

Portfolio Manager

David Tierney, PHD As Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of HydePark, David directs the firms equity investment activity, including portfolio management, research, trading and risk management. A founder of Richards & Tierney, Inc., he has done extensive work in portfolio analysis, risk control services and the management of assets for the last 20 years. He is recognized as the originator of the Dynamic Completeness Fund concept and quadrant mapping of portfolios. Recently, David co-authored a chapter on Investment Evaluation that is referenced in preparation for the CFA examination series. Prior to 1984, David was strategically involved in the management of Amoco Corporations pension fund investments. David earned a bachelors degree in engineering science (with distinction) from Northwestern University and an MS and PhD in applied statistics from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Institute for Quantitative Research and Finance, and sits on the S&P US Index Advisory Panel.

Rob A. Guttschow, CFA Rob is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for HydePark. Prior to this role, Rob served at HydePark affiliate Nuveen Asset Management (NAM) for four years as a managing director and portfolio manager responsible for developing and implementing derivatives-based strategies. Prior to joining NAM, Rob was a managing director and senior portfolio Manager at Lotsoff Capital Management (LCM), where he managed a variety of taxable fixed income portfolios and enhanced equity index products over ten years. Rob earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering and a MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He has received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a member of the CFA Society.

John W. Gambla, CFA, FRM, PRM - John serves as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director for HydePark. John transitioned to this role from HydePark affiliate Nuveen Asset Management (NAM), where he was a senior trader and quantitative specialist for sixteen years. During his NAM tenure he was responsible for trading, portfolio management, product development and fundamental and quantitative research. Prior to his career with Nuveen, he was a financial analyst with Abbott Laboratories. John earned a bachelor of science degree in genetics and developmental Biology and a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Illinois, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicagos Graduate School of Business. He has received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Risk Manager designations.
