A Word On Risk

An investment in the fund is subject to equity market risk, or the risk that one or more stocks in the portfolio may decline in value. This risk can be greater for small and medium market capitalization companies. The fund's investment in non-U.S. equities also presents additional risk, including the risk that non-U.S. securities will be more volatile than U.S. stocks due to such factors as adverse economic, currency, political, social or regulatory developments in a country. The fund may invest in companies domiciled in emerging market countries, whose markets are generally more volatile than countries with more mature economies. Currency risk is the risk that the value of the fund's portfolio will be more volatile due to the impact that changes in non-U.S. currency exchange rates will have on the fund's investments in non-U.S. stocks. As with any mutual fund investment, loss of money is a risk of investing.
