First American Funds Join Nuveen Investments Fund Family
We are pleased to announce the closing of the transaction between Nuveen Investments, Inc. and FAF Advisors, Inc. The long-term asset management business of FAF Advisors was combined with Nuveen Asset Management, LLC. The First American funds joined the Nuveen Family of Funds which now includes more than 100 funds to serve investor’s diverse investment needs. The First American money market funds were not part of this transaction.

How can I access my former First American funds?
Please view New Funds or visit our mutual funds site for daily pricing and portfolio information. You can also use the Find a Fund search box to the right. For future reference, please add the Nuveen Mutual Funds Site to your favorites.

Did the names of the affected First American funds change?
Yes. For example, First American Equity Income Fund is now Nuveen Equity Income Fund. Please refer to New Funds or download a fund list of the previous and current names. Please note that the First American money market funds were not included in the transaction.

Effective December 31, 2010, Nuveen Investments acquired the long-term asset management business of FAF Advisors, Inc., including the assets of FAF Advisors used in providing investment advisory services to the long mutual funds marketed under the First American funds name. As a result of this transaction, the affected First American long funds have been renamed to reflect the Nuveen Family of Funds brand.
