To help you organize and facilitate your tax preparation involving Nuveen Investments
funds, we are making your 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-INT, and other forms available
via this web site. Tax forms for investments in Nuveen's mutual funds and closed
end funds, will be available in mid-February on our site. In addition, by mid-February
we will send tax information directly to shareholders registered with Nuveen as
well as broker-dealers who then distribute tax information to investors holding
shares in street name.

NOTE: The following funds either invest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
or employ a managed distribution policy (or both). As a result, in order to accurately
determine shareholder tax reporting for these funds, it is necessary to calculate
certain tax adjustments. At present, the information necessary to calculate these
tax adjustments is not available from the third-party providers (various issuers).
As a result, the Funds have filed for an extension from the IRS to mail your completed
1099-DIV after the February 15, 2012 deadline. Therefore you may not receive your
1099 Forms until late February or early March 2012.
