To help you organize and facilitate your tax preparation involving Nuveen Investments
funds, we are making your 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-INT, and other forms available
via this web site. Tax forms for investments in Nuveen's mutual funds and closed
end funds, will be available in mid-February on our site. In addition, by mid-February
we will send tax information directly to shareholders registered with Nuveen as
well as broker-dealers who then distribute tax information to investors holding
shares in street name.

Note: A portion of the distributions received from the funds listed below may be
re-characterized as capital gains and/or return of capital, because of their investments
in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). The information required to make a final
determination of the characterization of your distributions may not be available
until early or mid-February. As a result, the Funds have filed for an extension
from the IRS to mail your completed 1099-DIV after the February 17th
2009 deadline. Therefore, you may not receive your 1099 Forms until late February
or early March 2009.
